Muhammad: The Last Prophet is an animated movie produced by Badr International and directed by Richard Rich. The movie was released in limited cinemas in the United States and the United Kingdom. The movie focuses on the early days of Islam and Muhammad.

Like in The Message, an earlier live-action film, Muhammad is not depicted. So whenever he is spoken to, or is in a scene, the character speaking to him faces the camera.

The film opens with Danny and Vic hurriedly lining the inside of a transit van with plastic. We then see them shopping for a drill, a mattress and other supplies before entering a small flat and assembling a bed for the mattress, and stapling foam insulation and board to the walls and windows of a bedroom. Then they kidnap Alice Creed. They drag her from the street into the back of the van and, with a bag over her head and ball gag in her mouth, take her back to the flat, tying her to the bed in the room they have converted into a prison cell.

Danny and Vic are two ex-convicts planning to gain a huge amount of cash on the ransom for Alice—the daughter of a rich businessman. Danny is the younger and nervier of the two, whereas Vic is hardened and wholly intimidating. After Alice tries to escape, Danny reveals himself and it turns out that Danny and Alice know each other. Danny explains to Alice that he came up with a plan to kidnap Alice for a £2M ransom and then Danny was to take the money from Vic to share with Alice. Apparently Danny and Vic are lovers that met in prison. Danny kept Alice in the dark about the plan because he wanted the kidnapping to be “authentic”. Alice is horrified by the plan but then plays along in order to try and escape later. In the 2nd escape attempt, Alice pockets a mobile phone that Vic discovers and he forces Alice to reveal Danny’s plan for betrayal.

The film follows a group of young Muslim men living in Sheffield who become radicalised and decide to become suicide bombers. Two members of the group, Omar (Riz Ahmed) and Waj (Kayvan Novak), go to a terrorist training camp in Pakistan.The other two are Barry (Nigel Lindsay), who is a convert to Islam, and Faisal (Adeel Akhtar), who tries to train crows to be bombers. A fifth member, Hassan (Arsher Ali), is recruited by Barry while Omar and Waj are in Pakistan. Faisal accidentally kills himself during a training exercise. The film culminates in the remaining four trying to blow themselves up at the London Marathon.

Di sebuah dunia paralel, terdapat sembilan makhluk hidup yang bernama sesuai dengan urutan angka dengan 1 (Christopher Plummer) sebagai pemimpinnya. Hidup kesembilan makhluk ini tak pernah tenang karena mereka selalu diburu robot ganas yang selalu siap memburu mereka untuk mengambil jiwa mereka.

9 menjalin persahabatan dengan 5 (John C. Reilly) yang hanya memiliki satu mata. Suatu ketika, dua sahabat ini meninggalkan tempat persembunyian untuk mencari 2 (Martin Landau) yang sempat menyelamatkan 9 sebelum ia bergabung dengan kelompok yang dipimpin oleh 1 ini.

Saat sedang membongkar-bongkar barang di antara reruntuhan 9 dan 5 dikejutkan oleh munculnya robot ganas yang siap mengambil jiwa mereka. 9 sadar bahwa mereka tak bisa selamanya lari dari robot ganas ini dan sudah saatnya mereka melawan agar terbebas dari ancaman yang selama ini menghantui hidup mereka.

Di saat yang sama, 9 juga sadar bahwa ia tak mungkin melawan robot ini dengan kekuatan fisik. Harus ada cara cerdik untuk bisa mengalahkan sang pencabut nyawa ini agar mereka bisa melanjutkan hidup mereka di planet yang kini telah dihancurkan oleh robot ini.

The film begins with a hostage situation in Los Angeles; this was loosely based on the 1997 North Hollywood shootout. Officer Jim Street (Colin Farrell), a former Navy SEAL and hot-shot cop from the Los Angeles Police Department and his SWAT team are sent to stop a gang of robbers who have taken over a bank. His high-tempered partner and close friend Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner) disobeys an order, and wounds a hostage. Gamble and Street are demoted by Captain Fuller (Larry Poindexter), the commander of LAPD’s Metropolitan Division, who is portrayed as a fussy martinet. Gamble quits following arguments with Fuller and Street, the latter of whom is taken off the SWAT team and sent to work in the “gun cage,” where he looks after gear and weapons.

The Chief of Police calls on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) to help re-organize the SWAT division. Hondo is transferred in, and soon puts together a diverse team, including himself, Street, Chris Sánchez (Michelle Rodriguez), Deacon Kaye (LL Cool J), T.J. McCabe (Josh Charles), and Michael Boxer (Brian Van Holt). The team trains together and develops bonds of friendship.

Meanwhile, a drug lord by the name of Alexander Montel (Olivier Martinez) has killed his father and uncle for control of the family’s crime empire. Uniformed L.A.P.D. personnel stop Montel for a broken taillight, detain him, and learn through Interpol he is an international fugitive. But as Montel is transferred to prison, his associates, dressed as LAPD officers, assault the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department bus transporting Montel in an attempt to free him. Hondo’s SWAT team foils the assault. As Montel is being brought into the police station in front of a group of reporters, he yells to the TV cameras, “I will give 100 million dollars to whoever gets me out of here!”
