Assembly 2007 : War feasts upon death. Its greedy appetite carries away many a life on the battlefield, and soldiers must be ready to die at any time. Yet all these sacrifices can be given meaning and reason with honor. A weathered witness of war’s insatiable appetite, Guzidi, Captain of the Ninth Company, will struggle his entire life to return honor to his forty six men and their self-sacrifice. The year 1948 witnessed the launching of the Huaihai Campaign during the Chinese Civil War. In one of Chinese history’s deadliest battles, thousands from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the Nationalist Army (KMT) fell in the battle that took place between Xuzhou and Bengdu. It was amid this bloody fight that Captain Guzidi led the Ninth Company infantry unit on a sniper mission. His orders were to fight the KMT Army until the retreat assembly call was sounded. Resident Evil 3: Extinction 2007 : Film yang berbasis dari serial video game, RESIDENT EVIL, pada seri ketiga ini berseting pada dunia, di mana Umbrella Corporation tidak berhasil mengendalikan penyebaran T-virus. Seisi dunia telah terkena virus tersebut dan populasi manusia sudah berubah menjadi populasi zombie. Alice (Milla Jovovich), ‘manusia super’ akibat percobaan biogenik Umbrella Corporation, bersembunyi di padang pasir (yang dulunya adalah Amerika Serikat). Alice dicari-cari pihak Umbrella Corporation karena dianggap dapat digunakan untuk membuat vaksin T-virus.
Alice mencoba kabur dengan melewati padang pasir di daerah Nevada, wilayah itu masih dekat dengan Las Vegas. Di tengah perjalanan, Alice menemukan buku yang isinya menimbulkan tanda tanya besar. Di buku itu ditulis, ternyata ada satu wilayah di daerah Utara, dekat Alaska, yang tidak terinfeksi virus.
Tak lama setelah itu, Alice bertemu dengan teman lamanya, Carlos Oliveira (Oded Fehr), dan L.J. (Mike Epps). Carlos dan L.J. adalah dua sahabat yang dulu sempat terjebak bersama Alice di kota Raccoon. Dalam rombongan itu terdapat pula Claire Redfield (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke), dan suster Betty (Ashanti).
Kelompok ini berusaha menemukan anti virus, mencari keadilan, dan meruntuhkan kekuasaan jahat Umbrella Corporation, yang dipimpin Albert Wesker (Jason O’Mara) dan ilmuwan Dr. Issacs (Iain Glen). Alaska adalah harapan baru. Ke sana mereka akan pergi. Meski tentu saja tak mudah. Musuh selalu menghadang.
