RESENSIYellowBrickRoad 2010  : One Morning in New England, 1940, the entire population of Friar New Hampshire – 572 people – walked together up a winding mountain trail and into the wilderness. They left behind their clothes, their money, all of their essentials. Even their dogs were abandoned, tied to posts and left to starve. No One knows why. A search party dispatched by the U.S. Army eventually discovered the remains of nearly 300 of Friar’s evacuees. Many had frozen to death. Others were cruelly and mysteriously slaughtered. The bodies of the remaining citizens are still unaccounted for. Over the years, a quiet cover-up operation managed to weave the story of Friar into the stuff of legends and backwoods fairy tales. The town has slowly repopulated, but the vast wilderness is mostly untracked, with the northern-most stretches off limits to local hunters and loggers. In 2008, the coordinates for the “YELLOWBRICKROAD” trail head were declassified…

Rango 2011 : In the back of a small car, in a small aquarium, resides a small lizard by the name of Rango (Johnny Depp). The only living creature in his ‘environment,’ Rango has fancied himself as an actor, with several inanimate object as his friends and fellow thespians. In his self-contained world, Rango’s ‘friends’ tell him that even though he fancies himself a hero, he needs a challenge.
The world goes awry when something in the road causes the car to jolt, and Rango and his aquarium fly out the back of the vehicle he’s in, shattering to the ground. Getting up, Rango sees an armadillo in the road, it’s mid-section squashed in by a tire. The creature asks for help to get to the other side, and Rango assists. Not being used to the heat, Rango asks the armadillo where he can find water. The creature tells him he can find it in dirt, a day’s journey away.
Rango follows his shadow through the desert, but is almost eaten by a hawk. Taking refuge in a storm drain, Rango wakes the next morning to a small rush of water that quickly evaporates in the sun. Close by, he comes across a
